を塞いでおいてドラムを回転させスクリユウ羽根
の推進力によつてをみを貯留し、ごみ排出時には
排出口をあけてドラムを回転することによりスク
リユウ羽根でごみを押し出すようにしている。し
かしながらごみが回転ドラム内に或る程度たまる
とスクリユウ羽根の推進作用は殆んど無くなりご
みを大量に貯留することができないため装置が大
型化し、また排出も円滑に行なわれない問題があ
る。このため、円滑ドラム内にオーガスクリユウ
を設け大量のごみを圧縮貯留するようにしたもの
があるが、この場合は都市ごみ中のひも類がシフ
トに絡みつくので、保守が大変であり、ごみの選

図中1は横向き状態に配設固定された円筒形の
貯留槽で、この貯留槽1の入口側にごみ投入シユ
ート2の下端部が接続され、また出口排出口には
出口側ケーシング3に固定したシリンダ4で前後
動される開閉蓋体5が設けられている。なお上記
ごみ投入シユート2の上部にはこのシユート2内
にたまつたごみ量を検出する検出器6が取付けら
れている。7は帯板を上記貯留槽1の内径に適合
する巻径でスパイラル状に巻回して構成した螺旋
羽根で、その両端を貯留槽1の前後端に設けられ
た回転リング9,10に固定して、貯留槽1の内
側に回転自在に嵌装されている。またこの螺旋羽
根7の外周面に適宜の間隔で掻き上げ板8を放射
状に取付け、螺旋羽根7の形状の保持と、ごみの
送りを助長する機能をもたせている。更に貯留槽
1の内周壁に適宜の間隔で長手方向の溝11,1
1を設け、ごみが螺旋羽根7と共回りするのを防
ぎごみの移送を良くしている。上記回転リング
9,10は断面凸形の環状体で、出口側リング1
0は貯留槽1の端部の軸受部1aと、出口側ケー
シング3と一体の環状軸受部14に回転自在に支
承されており、入口側リング9も入口側板13と
一体の図示しない環状軸受部と貯留槽1の端部軸
受部に出口側と同様に支承されている。そしてこ
の回転リング9,10を貯留槽1の外側から駆動
機構15により回転駆動して螺旋羽根7で投入ご
みを蓋体5の方向に移送するようになつている。
この駆動機構15は図示しない減速機付モータに
よりスプロケツトホイール16を介して回転駆動
されるシヤフト17と、このシヤフト17の両端
部に軸着されたスプロケツトホイール18,18
と、このスプロケツトホイール18,18とチエ
ーン連動されて回転される回転リング9,10の
外周に固定されたスプロケツトリング19,19
とで構成され、回転リング9,10を同期して回
転させるようになつている。21は真空輸送ライ
ン22と出口側ケーシング3との間に設けられた
ゲート弁で、シリンダ23により開閉作動される
