コンベヤにおいて、乗客コンベヤの長手方向に沿
う両側に左、右欄干を設け、これらの欄干の長手
方向に沿い無端状に設けられかつ上記欄干の端部
に水平方向に反転曲部が構成された外側レール
と、上記欄干の長手方向に沿い外側レールの内周
側に無端状に設けられかつ外側レールの反転曲部
と最も離れた水平方向の反転曲部およびこの反転
曲部から中間部側に行くに従つて外側レールに近
づく部分さらに外側レールの中間部に接近して平
行に延びる中間部が連続して形成された内側レー
ルと、上記外側レールに移動可能に係合されて1
列に配置された多数の手摺片と、上記内側レール
に移動可能に係合されて1列に配置された多数の
案内子と、上記手摺片と案内子とに両端部がそれ
ぞれ枢着されかつ上記外側レールおよび内側レー
ルの反転曲部に上記手摺片および案内子が係合し
た部分で手摺片への枢着部間が幅の狭いV字形と
なる上側リンクおよび下側リンクとを備え、これ
らの上側リンクと下側リンクとで上記手摺片およ
び案内子を無端状に連結して移動手摺を構成し、
左側の欄干に上記移動手摺からなる左側手摺を、
右側の欄干に上記移動手摺からなる右側手摺をそ
れぞれ配置すると共に、左側手摺および右側手摺
に上記乗客コンベヤの水平方向の湾曲部に対応す
る湾曲部をそれぞれ形成し、これらの湾曲部内側
に位置した手摺を案内する上記外側レールと内側
レールの相互間隔を、湾曲部外側に位置した手摺
