As explained above, according to the present invention, the collating machine includes a collator conveyance section such as a conveyor that continuously supplies the form body such as form paper in one sheet or a set of a desired number of sheets, and a collator conveyance section such as a conveyor, a transfer unit is provided at a side tip position to receive the form body carried out from the conveyance unit and to transfer the form body along a horizontal transfer surface having a conveyance guide wall in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance unit;
The transfer section is equipped with a chain drive device having a large number of transfer claws that move intermittently at predetermined intervals in a groove provided in the same direction as a horizontal transfer surface, and the tip position of the transfer section is located above the transfer section. a temporary paper receiving fork that protrudes to a position equal to or lower than the height of the sheet to receive the form body, and that retreats to a position facing the conveying section to drop and load the form body onto the conveying section; The fork tip side has a temporary paper receiving part that can move up and down with a predetermined stroke and can move horizontally or tilted, and a paper receiving part on both sides of the paper receiving part on the upstream and downstream sides of the transfer part in the form transfer direction. Since a suction device is installed on the bottom or top side to supply paper sheets such as front and back covers, for example, several sets of forms can be made into one set, and several sets can be made into one form, and a form with covers attached to the front and back can be made into one set. When binding books, it was necessary to install collators according to the number of sets per book, but the device of the present invention
By supplying the form body to the transfer unit using a single collator, and by arbitrarily setting the form transfer cycle between the collator and the transfer unit, it is possible to easily bind various sets of forms as desired. This is effective for low-volume production when binding documents, etc., and allows multiple sets of documents to be printed with front and back covers,
In addition, even when creating a single volume of documents from manuals, blotting paper, etc. as necessary, each printed paper can be stacked and collated in sequence, which has excellent practical effects. .
