The present invention relates to a flute material. Generally, to make a flute, Ag−7.5w/
oCu and Ag-10w/oCu are used, and 18-karat gold and 14-karat gold are used for high-grade products. Flutes made of 18-karat gold or 14-karat gold are not only expensive, but also have the problem of being considerably heavier than Ag-7.5w/oCu or Ag-10w/oCu. By the way, the tone of a flute depends on the hardness of the material, and it is said that harder materials produce better tone. For this reason, materials for flutes are required to have particularly high hardness. However, materials with high hardness are not used because they lack workability. Therefore, the present inventor developed Ag-7.5w/oCu and Ag-
As a result of our intensive efforts to develop an age-hardening alloy material for flutes that is harder than 10w/oCu, we have found an alloy material for age-hardening flutes that is generally satisfactory. One of the age-hardening flute materials of the present invention is
Ag25~35w/o, Pd30~40w/o, Au5~15w/
o, Pt5~15w/o, Cu10~20w/o, Zn0.5~
It consists of 2w/o. Another age hardening flute material of the present invention is Ag25~35w/o, Pd30~40w/o, Au5~
15w/o, Pt5~15w/o, Cu10~20w/o,
This pipe is made of Zn0.5-2w/o and has an Au layer on at least the outer surface. The reason why the component composition of the age-curable flute material of the present invention is limited as described above will be explained.
The reason for using a six-element alloy of Ag-Pd-Au-Pt-Cu-Zn is that it can be age-hardened to a hardness of Hv250 or higher that produces good tone, and it also suppresses an increase in weight. If Ag is less than 25w/o, the color of the outer surface of the flute will not be clear, and if it exceeds 35w/o, the hardness will decrease, the tone of the flute will not be good, and corrosion resistance will deteriorate, so Ag25 to 35w/o is preferable. It is.
If it is less than Pd30w/o, it will not be possible to achieve a hardness of Hv250 or higher that will produce a good tone, and if it exceeds 40w/o, it will not be possible to have a hardness of Hv250 or higher that will produce a good tone, so Pb30 to 40w/o is suitable. .
Au less than 5w/o does not contribute to age hardening, and 15w/o
If it exceeds o, the specific gravity will increase, so Au5~15w/
o is preferred. If Pt is less than 5 w/o, it will not contribute to age hardening, and if it exceeds 15 w/o, the specific gravity will increase, so Pt 5 to 15 w/o is suitable. If Cu is less than 10 w/o, it does not contribute to age hardening properties, and if it exceeds 20 w/o, the color of the outer surface of the flute will not be clear. Therefore, Cu of 10 to 20 w/o is suitable. Zn0.5w/o
If it is less than 2w/o, there will be no deoxidizing effect during melting and casting.
If it exceeds Zn0.5~2w/
o is preferred. Further, in the present invention, the reason why the Au layer is provided on at least the outer surface of the pipe is to improve corrosion resistance and give it a golden color. This Au layer may be either clad or plated, and may be applied before or after age hardening It may be provided at any time. Next, in order to clarify the effects of the age-hardening flute material according to the present invention, specific examples and conventional examples thereof will be described. The hardness and specific gravity of the age-hardening flute materials of Example 1, Conventional Examples 1, 2, 3, and 4 with the component compositions shown in the left column of the table below were measured, and the flutes were actually manufactured and processed. When the properties were observed, the results shown in the right column of the table below were obtained.

材と言える。[Table] As is clear from the table above, the age-hardening flute material of Example 1 has significantly higher hardness than the flute materials of Conventional Examples 1 and 2, and produces a good tone.
It has a hardness of Hv250 or more and a lower specific gravity than Conventional Examples 3 and 4. Furthermore, in terms of workability, it is as excellent as Ag-Cu alloy. As can be seen from the above explanation, the alloy material for flutes of the present invention has a high hardness of Hv250 or more that produces a good tone, has a relatively low specific gravity, and has excellent workability, so it is suitable for use with conventional flute materials. It can be said to be an epoch-making age-hardening material for flutes that can replace other materials.
