Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a method for continuously laying a water-shielding sheet, and in particular, in industrial waste landfill seawalls, the sheet is laid on a seawall to protect against sewage or rainfall exuding from industrial waste. This relates to a method of continuously laying a water-blocking sheet used to prevent wastewater containing water-soluble substances from industrial waste from leaking outside.

(Prior art) Regarding the above type of seawall, conventionally, a synthetic resin water-blocking sheet wound into a roll with a width of about 5 m is hung from the shoulder of the seawall to near the bottom, cut, and then moved to a new location. A construction method has been adopted in which the above steps are repeated. Since this construction method only overlaps adjacent sheets by about 50 cm, and the size of the water-shielding sheet is relatively small, simple installation equipment is sufficient and it is easy to handle. Since the lap portion of the water-shielding sheet has a mere overlapping structure, it has a defect that leakage of waste water from this lap portion cannot be completely prevented.

(Structure of the Invention) The present invention involves arranging two or more sheet elements side by side on a laying ship, joining these sheet elements with a wrap sheet to form an integral water-shielding sheet, and keeping this water-shielding sheet in a stretched state. The sheet is endlessly fed out from the laying ship, and one longitudinal end of the sheet is pulled up to the part to be laid, such as a revetment wall, and the sheet is applied to the seawall etc. in synchronization with the movement of the laying ship. The above objective is achieved by performing contact fixation.

The workbench 14 is provided for joining two or more liquid-tight sheet elements, made of synthetic resin, for example, arranged side by side. In FIG. 3, two sheet elements 28, 28' arranged side by side are joined by a wrap sheet 30, and a water-blocking sheet 32 is formed.
The state in which this is done is shown. The individual seat elements 28 or 28' can, for example, be of factory-fabricated dimensions 11.5 x 100 m x 2 mm, which are folded into an accordion and have a length of 11.5 m.
m, width 1.5 m, and transported to the storage box 12. Of course, the above-mentioned sheet elements 28 and 2 are manufactured at a factory using a work barge (not shown) in addition to the laying ship 10 equipped with the storage box 12.
8' can also be joined in the transverse direction by a wrap sheet 30' to make them endless, and then transported into the storage box 12 disposed on the laying ship 10. Seat element 28 or 28'
The wrap sheet 30' is formed by joining the sheet elements 28 and 28' in the transverse direction to form an endless sheet.
It is advantageous to be made of the same material as 8 and 28' in terms of joining with the seat element, and its dimensions are
It can be 0.5m x 6.0m x 2mm.
Since the material of the sheet elements and wrap sheets used for this type of use is generally thermoplastic synthetic resin, their joining can be done by thermal welding, and for this purpose hot air, high frequency heating methods, etc. can be adopted. . The entire surface of the wrap sheet 30 may be welded to the sheet elements 28, 28', but the width of the welded portion of the wrap sheet 30 to each sheet element 28 or 28' should be between 30 and 100 mm to achieve the purpose of the present invention. By narrowing the width of the welded portion in this manner, it becomes possible to use a small and inexpensive welding machine for welding.

After being pulled out from the storage box 12 via the guide roller 16, the lap sheet 30 is placed on the deck 15.
The water-shielding sheet 32 joined and integrated by the rollers is fed through a presser roller 20 and endlessly fed out by a pair of rollers consisting of a drive roller 22 and a tension roller 24. The feeding mode can be continuous, but it can also be fed out intermittently depending on the state of welding between the sheet element and the wrap sheet. One longitudinal end of the let-out water-shielding sheet 32 is pulled up onto the edge of the seawall 36 by a crane 341 equipped on the truck 34, as shown in FIG. Seawall 36
As shown in FIG. 4, for example, the edge of the water-blocking sheet 32 that has been pulled up is guided into a pre-formed side gutter 361, and a reinforcing bar or wooden stake is driven as a head anchor 362, and then the above-mentioned side gutter 361 can be fixedly installed by backfilling. On the other hand, the other longitudinal end of the water-shielding sheet 32 can be fixedly installed by arranging anchor blocks 38 at appropriate intervals using, for example, an anchoring boat (not shown).

(Effects of the Invention) According to the construction method of the present invention, the joining of sheet elements using the lap sheet is carried out on a ship equipped with welding equipment, so it is possible to perform the laying work while checking the liquid tightness of the formed water-shielding sheet. Therefore, it is possible to continuously lay a water-blocking sheet of any width over any length, thereby improving workability and completely blocking water leakage.
