The bottom of the hole and the surrounding wall surface are coated with the same material. Disposal trenches are usually large, with a side or diameter of 100 m or more and a depth of 10 m or more. Therefore, the area covered by the sheet is extremely large, so many wide sheets are stacked together on site. It is being installed while being connected.

For a welding machine operating in the area, such a location does not fully satisfy the working conditions necessary to completely weld the joint ends. For this reason, welding requires a specialized, skilled person, takes a lot of time, and is inefficient.Furthermore, when welding on site, it is difficult to find faulty connections after the work is completed, and in addition, it is difficult to find faulty connections in the rain. In some cases, there were problems such as the inability to perform welding work.

の接続方法を提供することを目的とする。 The present invention was made to solve these problems, and it does not require skilled workers and has excellent work efficiency. It also makes it easy to inspect for poor connections after work is completed, and is not affected by the weather. To provide a method for connecting sheets that not only allows a completely watertight connection to be made by performing a joining operation without any friction, but also prevents the connected portion from coming off when a tensile force in the direction of pulling it apart is applied to the connected portion. purpose.

The side ends are inserted between the side ends of the strips and fixed to the front and back surfaces of the connecting ends of this sheet, respectively, and then the space formed by the pair of belts including the connecting ends of both sheets is inserted. It is characterized by filling the space with a self-hardening fluid material and hardening it to connect both sheets in a watertight manner.

する。 Figures 1 to 4 show that, for example, when industrial waste is disposed of in a hole formed in the soil, a flexible and water-impermeable sheet is used to prevent harmful substances from flowing into the soil. This figure shows an example of the connection of sheets in the case of laying the sheets to cover the bottom and surrounding wall surfaces. First, as shown in FIG. 1, the front surface 2a and back surface of the connecting end 1a of one sheet A to be connected is made of polyvinyl chloride or the like and has a rectangular protrusion 7a formed on the connecting edge 6a. 3a, a pair of strips 4 and 5 made of polyvinyl chloride or the like are made to face each other, and the side edges 4a and 5a are connected to the connecting edge 6 of sheet A.
Sheets A of these strips 4 and 5 are made to protrude outward from A and are fixed at their opposite side ends 4b and 5b, for example, by spot welding.
The fixing work is done in advance in the factory,
This sheet A is transported to the site and laid at predetermined positions such as the bottom and peripheral wall surface of a trench formed in the soil.

As shown in the figure, the side end 5a of the back side strip 5 is connected to the back side of the connecting end 1b of the sheet B by spot welding, and then the surface of the connecting end 1b of the sheet B is connected as shown in FIG. side edge 4 of the strip 4 on the surface side
Connect a by spot welding. This makes it possible to facilitate the filling operation with the self-hardening fluid material described later and to improve the connection strength between the sheets A and B. It is sufficient to simply insert it between 4a and 5a, and in this case, the labor and expense required for spot welding can be reduced, and the connection work can be carried out regardless of the weather such as rain.

The sheets A and B are connected by injecting a self-hardening fluid material 9 such as asphalt from one end face or both end faces, filling it densely and hardening naturally.

It has the advantage that it is extremely simple and requires no skill and requires less work time. In addition, by pushing the strips 4 and 5 from above, for example, you can easily find a place where the self-hardening fluid material 9 is not filled, so even if there is a bad connection, you can easily find it and fill it. to create a completely watertight connection. further connected sheet A,
A protrusion 7a is provided on each connecting edge 6a, 6b of B.
7b are formed respectively, and those protrusions 7
Since ridges a and 7b mesh with the hardened self-hardening fluid material, even if a tensile force is applied to the sheets A and B in the direction of separating them, the protrusions 7a and 7b are held by the hardened self-hardening fluid material and are not pulled out. I never take it out. Further, in this embodiment, the protrusions 7a and 7b have rectangular end faces as shown in FIG. 5, but may be circular as shown in FIG. Other shapes may be used, such as having grooves 7c parallel to the grooves 6b.

Simply insert the connecting end of the other sheet that has a protrusion along it, fill the space formed by the strip that includes the connecting end of both sheets with a self-hardening fluid substance, and harden it. Both sheets can be connected in a watertight manner, making the connection work extremely simple and requiring only a short amount of time, which can be further shortened by using a rapidly hardening self-hardening fluid material. In addition, the connection is reliable, and even if there is a faulty connection, it can be easily found.Furthermore, unlike welded connections, it can be worked on in the rain, and there is no tensile force in the direction of pulling the connection apart. The connection point will not come apart when the connection is made.
