Conventional Structure and Problems There has already been proposed a device as shown in FIG. 4 that repels or evades cockroaches by applying an electric shock to them. In this method, a pair of electrodes 1a, 1b are arranged facing each other on an insulating base material 2 with an insulating interval W, and a dry battery 3 is placed between the electrodes 1a, 1b.
When the cockroach 4 is positioned across both electrodes 1a and 1b, the current from both electrodes 1a and 1b flows into the body of the cockroach 4, thereby causing the cockroach 4 to receive an electric shock. It is something that receives.

The structure described above is used, for example, on the outer wall surface 5 around the article entrance 6 of the storage cabinet 5 shown in FIG.
If it is set to a, it is possible to make it difficult for the cockroaches 4 to enter the accommodation chamber 5b.
In other words, from the outer wall surface 5a of the cabinet 5 to the arrow A
Cockroach 4, which has been walking like this, is in containment room 5b.
On the way there, it comes into contact with the electrodes 1a and 1b, receives an electric shock, and returns in the direction of arrow B.

However, the cockroaches 4 may not only go back as described above, but may also pass through the electrodes 1a and 1b and enter the housing chamber 5b through the front opening 5c as shown by the arrow C. The factors that cause such inconvenience are largely related to the set positions of the electrodes 1a and 1b, and this point will be described below.

As shown in Figure 6, the cockroach 4 has the habit of walking around on a relatively flat surface with no obstacles to prevent it from walking, without stopping much of the time.
It has a habit of stopping walking once a is placed over the corner O, and in this state, looking ahead using the antennae 4b. Comparing the rate at which Cockroach 4 moves back (in the direction of arrow B) when receiving an electric shock while walking and when receiving an electric shock while stopped, it is found that when receiving an electric shock while stopped There was a high rate of relapse. It is not clear why this happens, but it is thought that if the person receives an electric shock while walking, the momentum of the walk increases, making it difficult for the person to go back and end up in the direction of travel (in the direction of arrow C).

From the above, if both electrodes 1a and 1b are set on the outer wall surface 5a, which is the entry path (arrow A) surface in front of the corner O, as in the configuration shown in FIG. Since the cockroach 4 comes into contact with both electrodes 1a and 1b while walking, there are many cases where the cockroach 4 ends up moving in the direction of arrow C after receiving the electric shock. .

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the electric insect repellent device of the present invention includes at least a pair of band-shaped electrodes arranged in a ring shape to which a voltage is applied to the front surface of the opening of the container whose front surface is open, and one of the band-shaped electrodes. is provided on the front surface of the opening in close proximity to the outer corner of the front surface of the opening of the container, and the other electrode is provided on the front surface of the opening with a small insulation gap from the one electrode, and the position of the insulation gap is at the outer corner. According to this configuration, it is easy to give an electric shock to the cockroach while it is not walking, thereby more reliably preventing cockroaches from entering the containment chamber, and preventing the short-circuited state of the electrode from the front. The electrodes can be found more easily, and the electrodes must be installed from the front, making the installation process easier. Also, even if the same types of containers are placed side by side, horizontally or vertically, electrodes of different polarities will not come into contact with each other and cause the electrodes to come into contact with each other. This has the advantage that there is little risk of this happening.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a storage body equipped with a storage chamber 2 for storing tableware, food, people, etc. In this embodiment, a storage cabinet is shown as an example.
It may be kitchen furniture, a washstand, etc., or it may be a wall of a building that constitutes a living space such as a living room or bathroom. Reference numeral 3 denotes an opening formed in a part of the storage body 1, and in the case of a storage cabinet, it is an opening for taking in and out of stored items, and in the case of a building wall, it is a window or an entrance for people. Reference numerals 4a and 4b denote a pair of strip-shaped electrodes made of a conductive material, and these electrodes 4a and 4b are arranged so that one of the electrodes 4a is brought close to the outer corner O around the opening 3 of the storage chamber 2, and the electrodes 4a and 4b are placed in the front surface of the opening around the opening 3. 1a
The other electrode 4b is provided on the front surface 1a of the opening between the corner O and the one electrode 4a with a small insulation interval W (about 2 mm) from the one electrode 4a. Dimensions that bring the one electrode 4a close to the corner O
T 1 is set within approximately 10 mm, taking into consideration the body lengths of various cockroaches 5. The width of the other electrode 4b is approximately equal to the proximity dimension T minus the insulation interval W, so that the other electrode 4b is also close to the corner O with a dimension T2 of about 1 mm. 6 is an electrode 4a,
A commercial power supply or a dry cell battery is used as the power source for applying voltage to the electrode 4b. In this embodiment, a dry cell battery is used, and its side is connected to one electrode 4a and the other side to the other electrode 4b via an electric wire 7. There is. If the voltage of the power source 6 is about 6V or more, the cockroach 5
It is possible to give an electric shock to the human body, and of course it can be higher than that, but if the voltage is too high, the electrode 4a,
4b, it is optimal to set the voltage to about 30 V or less, since it will not cause electric shock to the human body and will give a stronger electric shock to the cockroaches 5. However, if the electrodes 4a and 4b are placed in a place that does not affect the human body, the voltage may be 100V or more. Further, when using a commercial power source to obtain a voltage of about 30V, the voltage is lowered using a transformer (not shown).

In the above configuration, as shown by arrow A in FIG.
The cockroach 5 that has been walking on the outer wall surface 1b of the housing 1 tries to move toward the inside of the housing chamber 2, but the forelimbs 5
The robot temporarily stops walking with the handle a placed on the corner O, and while it is stopped, uses the antennae 5b to feel if there is anything dangerous in front of it. In the stopped state, the forelimb 5a is in contact with one electrode 4b,
When the antennae 5b comes into contact with the other electrode 4a while searching, an electric current flows inside the body of the cockroach 5, and most of the cockroaches 5 move back (in the direction of arrow B) due to this electric shock. That is, since the cockroach 5 receives an electric shock while it is not walking, it often moves backwards, and therefore rarely reaches the inside of the housing chamber 2 through the opening front surface 1a. In addition, since the electrodes 4a and 4b are arranged in a ring shape on the front surface 1a of the opening with an insulating interval W in between, short-circuit conditions between the electrodes 4a and 4b can be easily detected from the front surface, and the electrodes 4a and 4b can be attached from the entire surface. This makes the installation work easier.

Furthermore, a storage cabinet like the one in this example,
Although the electrodes 4a and 4b may be installed side by side in the horizontal and vertical directions, or in a seeded manner, since the electrodes 4a and 4b are arranged in an annular manner on the opening front surface 1a of the storage chamber 2, the electrodes 4a and 4b of different polarities , 4b may be shot due to the way the storage cabinet is installed, which is useful in combination furniture.

Figure 3 shows an opening/closing body 8 such as a door that opens and closes the opening 3.
An example is shown in which a sealing member 9 made of a flexible material such as rubber is attached between the opening/closing body 8 and the opening front surface 1a. Even if a gap H is created between the sealing member 9 and the opening/closing body 8 due to such reasons, the presence of the electrodes 4a and 4b can prevent the cockroaches 5 from entering the housing chamber 2. Note that the sealing member 9 may be integrated with one electrode 4a as shown in the figure, or may be provided on the opening/closing body 8 side.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the electric insect repellent device of the present invention has the following features:
Since the electric shock from the electrode is given to the cockroaches while they are stopped walking, the cockroaches almost always return to the direction in which they were walking after receiving the electric shock, thus preventing the cockroaches from entering the containment chamber. Not only can it be prevented more reliably, short-circuited electrodes can be easily detected from the front.
In addition, the electrodes can be installed from the front, making the installation process easier. Also, even if containers of the same type are arranged horizontally, vertically, and vertically, the electrodes can be arranged in a ring shape in front of the opening of the container. Therefore, there is no fear that electrodes of different polarities may be shot due to the way the housing is installed, and this is useful for combination furniture and the like.
