Conventionally, as a floating body for a scraping device used for the above purpose, as shown in Fig. 5, a steel band Y is attached to a log X and a chain Z is attached to this steel band Y, or a chain Z is attached in place of the log X. Hollow FRP products were mainly used in Japan, but the former absorb seawater during use and gradually lose their buoyancy, sinking below the sea surface and becoming difficult to move due to ocean currents, wind, waves, etc. It has disadvantages such as the ability to purify the seabed is significantly reduced, and since the material is a natural product, it is inferior in durability. The latter is simply a hollow cylindrical body, so it cannot be used for fishing boats, driftwood, etc. Not only did they have low impact resistance against contact with floating objects, but they also had the disadvantage that they could not withstand the violent waves of the open ocean for long periods of time, and would break and be washed away within one to two years.

In the drawing, 1 has a triangular cross-sectional shape, a quadrangular shape,
The floating body for the scrubbing device has an arbitrary shape such as a polygon such as a hexagon or an octagon, or a circle or an ellipse.
Reference numeral 2 denotes a pipe-shaped shaft made of a hard material with corrosion resistance and high strength such as stainless steel or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, and has female threads 2a screwed on both ends. Accordingly, a protrusion 2b for preventing the core material 3 from slipping, which will be described later, is provided at a predetermined portion of the outer peripheral surface, such as near the end or the middle portion. 3 is coated on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 2 and is integrated into the shaft 2. For example, the specific gravity is
The core material is made of polyurethane foam material having rigid or semi-rigid closed cells of 0.02 to 0.30.
4 further covers the entire outer surface of the core material 3 to form a core material 3.
The outer layer 4 is made of a single rubber material such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or a mixture of these rubbers as shown in Fig. 3, and as shown in Fig. 2. In some cases, it is a laminate in which a rubber material made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or a mixture of these rubbers is laminated on a reinforcing core 4a made of a strong fabric such as nylon, polypropylene, or polyester as shown. Reference numeral 5 denotes an eye bolt screwed onto female threads 2a screwed onto both ends of the shaft 2, and the eye bolt 5 scrapes the surfaces of the seabed, underwater rocks, reefs, etc. and adheres to these surfaces. Scraping chain 6 for scraping off algae, sludge, shellfish excrement, spores of seaweed such as kelp, and substances that inhibit the implantation of young abalone shells.
can be installed. Reference numeral 7 denotes an anchor attached to the scraping chain 6, which prevents the scraping device from flowing out.

In order to use the floating body for a scrubbing device according to the present invention having the above-described structure, first attach the eye bolts 5 at both ends of the floating body 1 for a scrubbing device to appropriate lengths selected according to the condition of the sea depth to be scrubbed. A scraping chain 6 is attached, and an anchor 7 is attached to one side of the scraping chain 6 to form a scraping device. When this abrasion device is thrown into the sea, the abrasion device floating body 1 floats to the sea surface, the abrasion chain 6 and the anchor 7 sink into the sea, and the anchor 7 is attached to the seabed. 1 from flowing out, and the extra length of the scraping chain 6 lies on bedrock, reefs, etc. on the seabed. When the scraping device floating body 1 floats on the sea surface in such a state due to ocean currents, wind, waves, etc., the scraping chain 6 connected to the scraping device floating body 1 also moves and touches the seabed or underwater rock. This method scrapes off the surfaces of rocks and reefs, etc., and scrapes away things that are attached to these surfaces, such as algae, sludge, and shellfish excrement, which inhibit the settlement of seaweed spores such as kelp, and young abalone shellfish. be.

The shaft 2, which is the central material, is made of a hard material and has high rigidity, so a core material 3 is placed on its outer peripheral surface.
The scraping chain 6 can be easily and accurately covered, and the eye bolt 5 that can firmly and reliably attach the scraping chain 6 to the female thread 2a screwed on both ends can be screwed on. without departing from 1,
Moreover, the replacement of the rubbing chain 6 is extremely easy due to the presence of the eye bolt 5.

If only the outer layer 4 is used, the outer layer 4 will be easily damaged by shocks caused by contact with fishing boats, driftwood, and other floating objects, and cannot withstand long-term use. Because of the presence of the core material 3, the core material 3 cushions the impact on the outer layer 4, making it difficult for the outer layer 4 to be damaged.
Furthermore, even if the outer layer 4 is damaged, the core material 3 can prevent seawater from penetrating into the interior of the floating body 1 for the scrubbing device, so it can be used semi-permanently.

By using a rubber material or a laminate in which a rubber material is laminated on a reinforcing core 4a as the outer layer 4 that covers the entire outer surface of the core material 3, the outer layer 4 is able to withstand impact forces caused by collisions with drifting objects, wave forces, etc. Since the external force is absorbed, deformation such as twisting or distortion of the floating body 1 for a scrubbing device can be prevented, and the durability of the floating body 1 for a scrubbing device can be improved.

By using a semi-rigid or hard polyurethane foam material with a specific gravity of about 0.02 to 0.30 and having closed cells as the polyurethane foam material constituting the core material 3, even if the outer layer 4 is damaged or cracked, the abrasion device can still be used. The specific gravity of the floating body 1 for scraping equipment does not increase due to water absorption, the performance of the floating body 1 for scrubbing device does not deteriorate, and it can be used semi-permanently.
