泡と独立気泡とが連通される程度のものとする。その理
由は床下に散布したり布団や枕に混在させておいたと
き、初期においては連続気泡の孔壁に付着している薬効
成分の放散で、その後は歩行、寝返りなどの人体による
加圧の繰り返しで徐々に隔壁が破壊される独立気泡に包
蔵されている薬効成分の放散で長期間にわたり薬効が持
続され、実験上は5年間にわたり有効であることが確認
されている。さらに、薬効成分としては、用途に応じた
ものを任意に選択すればよいが、防ダニ剤、防黴剤など
が一般的である。また、薬効成分を放散する弾性材料を
製造する手段は特に限定されることはないが、合成樹脂
エマルジョン例えばアクリル酸エステルのエマルジョン
を主原料としてこれにゼオライト系の連続気泡発生剤の
ような無機質の連続気泡発生剤と中和安定剤、独立気泡
発生剤、コロイダルシリカなどの膨張抑制剤を加えて撹
拌熟成させ、これに必要に応じて用いる吸着剤、潤滑剤
とともに薬効成分となる薬剤の適量を混入して加熱後冷
却するなどして製造すればよく、また、この薬効成分を
放散する弾性材料は前記のようにして得たのち加熱溶融
して化学繊維糸にコーティングし高温で架橋させてコー

剤としてのアルミナ系超微粒子4部、帯電防止剤1、5
部をカツオブシ虫駆虫剤15部、チリダニ、イエダニ駆
虫剤20部を加えて均整に混和して加熱し、これを冷却
して薬効成分を放散する弾性材料を得た。次に、この薬
効成分を放散する弾性材料を加熱溶融して糸状コーティ
ング装置のコーティング材料槽に入れ、糸送りからコー
ティング材料槽を通過するようにアクリル繊維よりなる
糸状を送り込んで糸状に溶融された前記弾性材料をコー
ティングし、薬効成分を放散する弾性材料がコーティン
グされたコーティング糸を得た。次に、この糸を2mmに
裁断した薬効成分を放散する短繊維をイエダニ被害にあ
っている寝室の畳下に従来の薬剤散布の場合と同様直接
散布したところ、12ケ月経過してもイエダニの発生は

常の羽毛と比べて嵩張ることがないうえに違和感も全く
ないもので、いずれも簡単に製造できる利点と相俟ち、
