(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, in the metal gutter as described above, when the gutter resonates due to the vibration of the vehicle traveling or the like, noise is generated, and when the expansion and contraction amount in the bridge axis direction is increased. There is a problem that the entire gutter becomes large and requires a larger installation space, and the groove cross-sectional area of the gutter member (8) is small, so that small stones are easily accumulated and the flow of rainwater is deteriorated.

In order to overcome such inconvenience, as a gutter for expansion joint devices, a rubber gutter used for viaducts having a relatively small expansion / contraction amount, that is, a gutter arranged orthogonal to the bridge shaft as shown in FIG. The entire material (12) is made of a horizontally rectangular elastic sheet material such as chloroprene rubber or chloroprene rubber cloth and has a U-shaped cross section, and the gutter material (12) is provided at both ends of the gutter material (12).
A bellows-shaped side wall (1
3) and (13) 'are joined or integrated by bonding or bolting (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 59-199905), and the front and rear walls (14) and (15) of the gutter material (12) are applied. It is also conceivable to fix the upper edge to the horizontal beam and the intermediate horizontal beam with bolts (16) to increase the expansion and contraction amount of the gutter and increase the groove volume.

However, in the above rubber trough, the side walls (13), (1
3) ′ and the gutter (12) are formed separately and then joined together. The thickness of the joined part is larger than other parts and the flexibility of this part is obstructed. When the expansion / contraction amount of the expansion joint portion is large, bending stress concentrates there, and peeling or cracking of the joint portion is likely to occur, which may cause water leakage, and there is room for further improvement in this respect.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the gutter according to the present invention.
The gutter material (41) constituting the gutter (40) has a side edge (47) cut into a convex curved shape as shown in a developed shape in FIG. 5, and the side edge (47) is formed at a plurality of locations (illustrated example). (5 locations) are alternately folded inside and outside at approximately equal intervals, and the folds (64) are sandwiched and joined by synthetic resin or stainless steel seat plates (60), (60) 'and bolts (61). Thus, the bellows-shaped side wall (50) is integrally formed. The gutter (41)
The tail plate-shaped support plate (62) is erected on the upper surface of the FRP-made reinforcing plate (54) attached to the bottom part of the connecting plate (63), (63). ) ′ Is connected to the pleated fold joint (64) at the center of the side wall.

The gutter (40) having the above structure is attached to the expansion joint device (22) in the manner as shown in FIG. 2, and the groove width in the bridge axial direction is changed by the bending deformation of the gutter member (41). Since the side wall (50) folded in a bellows shape is formed continuously and integrally with the bottom part of the gutter material (41), no local stress acts on the side wall (50) and uniform flexibility is exhibited, and the central part Since the pleated portion (64) is connected to the upper end of the support plate (62), it does not fall inside or outside during expansion and contraction, and rainwater is prevented from flowing out.

In each of the above-mentioned embodiments, the case where the gutter is attached to a large-sized link type expansion joint device used for a bridge having a large expansion and contraction amount such as a long bridge is explained, but the application range of the gutter of the present invention is not limited to this. The present invention is not limited to the above, and it is of course possible to apply the present invention to a joint portion having a relatively small amount of expansion and contraction, such as an expansion joint portion of a highway viaduct (see Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-20196).

(Effect of the invention) As described above, in the gutter of the present invention, a gutter member having a U-shaped side cross section, which is arranged substantially horizontally and orthogonal to the bridge axis, is flexed like a rubber under the fingers of the bridge expansion joint. Since it is formed of an elastic sheet material having a wide rectangular shape with excellent properties, and the side wall is formed integrally with the gutter material by folding and joining the end sides thereof, the bottom part and the side wall of the gutter material. There is no seam at the boundary with the part, and even when the groove width of the gutter changes according to the displacement of the bridge expansion joint part, since the local bending stress does not act, the life of the gutter is greatly extended, It has an excellent effect that the replacement interval of the gutter becomes longer and the maintenance becomes easier.

Moreover, according to the gutter of the present invention, even at the time of manufacturing, it is not necessary to join the bellows part forming the side wall and the gutter material forming the groove bottom like a conventional rubber gutter, and the manufacturing is facilitated, and By reducing the weight of the side wall of the gutter, it can be expected that rainwater can be prevented from flowing out due to the downward bending of the gutter end.
