【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、枠ルーバをコイル状に巻回された金属薄板を用いて抜き加工により形成する枠ルーバ形成方法に関し、詳しくは枠ルーバの反りを防止する枠ルーバ形成方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
薄板を格子状に組んで光源を覆って照明を調整するルーバ等の枠(以下、「枠ルーバ」という。)は、金属薄板を押抜き、切抜き、型抜き等の抜き加工を施して適宜に切り起こし、図1に示すように形成する場合がある。この場合、金属薄板が切板であるときは形成後の枠ルーバには反りは生じないが、コイル状に巻回された金属薄板(コイル材)であるときには、形成後の枠ルーバに図1の矢示のような反りが形成される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この反りは、枠ルーバの寸法誤差や他の照明器具との間での不必要な応力の発生等の様々の悪影響を生じる。したがって、コイル状に巻回された金属薄板を用いて枠ルーバを形成する場合には、反りの発生を除く作業が必要となるが、その作業は極めて困難なものとなっている。

本発明は、上記の実情に鑑みなされたもので、コイル状に巻回された金属薄板からの枠ルーバの形成において、簡単な作業で枠ルーバの反りを防止することができる枠ルーバ形成方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の目的は、コイル状に巻回された金属板を順次繰り出し、繰り出された金属板に抜き加工および切り起しを行って枠ルーバを形成する枠ルーバ形成方法において、前記繰り出された金属板の周縁部に予め定めた間隔で切り欠きを設けたことを特徴とすることにより達成される。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明では、コイル状に巻回された金属板を順次繰り出し、繰り出された金属板に透過開口および切り起し片を形成する抜き加工を行う際、繰り出された金属板の両側それぞれの側周縁部に予め定めた間隔で切り欠き形成する。その後、枠ルーバ1個分を切り離して切り起し片を起立して枠ルーバを形成する。

繰り出された金属板の両側それぞれの側周縁部に予め定めた間隔で切り欠きを形成することにより、コイル状に巻回されたことによる曲げ応力が除去され、形成後の枠ルーバの反りがなくなる。

以下、本発明の実施例の枠ルーバ形成方法を図を参照して説明する。図1ないし図4は、実施例の枠ルーバ形成方法を説明する図であって、図1は実施例の枠ルーバ形成方法に形成された枠ルーバの斜視図、図2はコイル状に巻回された金属板の繰り出しを示す斜視図、図3は抜き加工された金属板の平面図、図4は図3に示す要部の拡大平面図である。

図1において、2は枠ルーバであって、この実施例では長方形状をなし、両側長辺及び両側短辺の周縁に起立壁21、22、23、24が形成され、平面部に適宜の間隔で透過開口25が形成されている。また、長辺両側の起立壁21、22の起立周縁部に透過開口25毎に切り欠き26が形成されている。

図1に示す枠ルーバ2は、図2に示すようなコイル状に巻回された金属板1を順次繰り出し、繰り出された金属板1に、図3に示すように、後に切り離して個々の枠ルーバを形成する切離し位置(図3の一点鎖線で示す位置)の側縁部に後に起立して起立壁とする切り起し片21、22、23、24を形成するための長方形状の切欠き28、切離し位置間の領域に枠ルーバの透過開口25および両側それぞれの側周縁部に透過開口25に対向して切欠き26をそれぞれ抜き加工により形成する。

繰り出された金属板1の両側それぞれの側周縁部に形成される切欠き26は、図4に示すように、透過開口25の縁からの距離Aの位置に幅L、深さDの切欠きとされていて、この実施例の場合、金属板1の幅は約227mm、枠ルーバ1個分の長さ約640mmで、同形の透過開口25が等間隔に8個形成され、切欠き26は、幅Lは3mm、深さDは5mm程度で、透過開口25の縁からの距離Aは約26mmとされている。

なお、切欠き26の大きさを、幅Lは3mm、深さDは5mm程度にして、金属板1の枠ルーバ1個分の長さ、透過開口25の大きさや個数、また透過開口25の縁からの距離Aを変更しても、図1に矢示するような、金属板1の巻き方向の枠ルーバ2の反りは見られなかった。

【発明の効果】
以上詳述したように、本発明によれば、金属板の両側それぞれの側周縁部に予め定めた間隔で切り欠きを形成するという簡単な作業により、コイル状に巻回されたことによる曲げ応力が除去され、形成後の枠ルーバの反りがなくなり、枠ルーバの取付け等に無理がなく正確性を図ることができるという効果を秦する。
