During the quest Drive the Point Home players will discover that Wakasa is the Golden Teppo, a member of the Shinbakufu who shot Naoe in the beginning. Upon choosing to confront Wakasa in the Tea Ceremony, players hold her at gunpoint with the choice to ask for information on the box or take revenge. Both choices end in Wakasa's death, with no repercussion or crucial information to be gained.

Asking for the Box is the Canon Choice
This choice aligns with Naoe's morals as retrieving the box is the main goal of Naoe's journey, with revenge coming in second. Asking for the box will reveal that Wakasa knows where the box is located, but cannot give out that information to Naoe. Regardless, either choice leads to Wakasa's execution and does not affect the story or the gameplay.
