The present invention relates to a house having rooms with floors at different heights.

In recent years, the spread of telecommuting has led to an increase in homes being equipped with workspaces. For example, the building disclosed in Patent Document 1 is equipped with a library connected to a hallway and a walk-in closet as a workspace. The library has an open ceiling above, and a living room connected to the open ceiling is located on the upper floor.

In the building disclosed in Patent Document 1, the library faces the Japanese-style room across the corridor, so residents entering or leaving the Japanese-style room may be drawn to the library. Also, it is easy to look down on the library from the living room on the upper floor through the atrium. For this reason, residents may unexpectedly see documents in the library or the screens of information terminal devices. Furthermore, residents working in the library may see residents entering or leaving the Japanese-style room or the movements of residents in the Japanese-style room, or hear sounds associated with the residents' movements, which may disrupt their concentration while working in the library.

In addition, the hallway leading to the library is connected to the other rooms, so it is expected that residents will travel between their rooms and the library, and they will need to go up and down the stairs to go between their rooms, kitchen, and the library.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide a home that has a workspace that is connected to the living/dining/kitchen area of the home, but blocks out sound and visibility as much as possible.

(1) The house of claim 1 comprises an LDK located on the first floor, a workspace located on the first floor, and a staircase that connects the first floor to the second floor above the first floor and can be accessed from the LDK, the LDK and workspace are located opposite each other across the staircase, and the space above the workspace is continuous with the staircase.

The upper space of the workspace is connected to the first staircase, which can be accessed from the living, dining, and kitchen area, but because the staircase is located between the living, dining, and kitchen area and the workspace, sound and visibility are blocked as much as possible, allowing the workspace residents to concentrate on their work without worrying about their surroundings. This makes it possible to create a workspace that is connected to the other rooms and spaces, while blocking sound and visibility as much as possible.

(2) Claim 2 is a house according to claim 1, in which the living space and the workspace in the LDK are located opposite each other with the staircase in between, the staircase can be accessed from the living space, and the workspace can be accessed from the kitchen space in the LDK.

Residents in the kitchen space can enter the workspace via a short path, allowing them to work efficiently when teleworking from home during the day while also doing housework. In addition, the path from the living space to the workspace is longer, and the line of sight toward the workspace is blocked by the stairs, so people who do housework in the kitchen while working in the workspace can concentrate on their work, even when someone who has returned home from work at night is in the living space.

(3) Claim 3 is a house according to claim 1 or 2, in which the floor surface of the workspace is lower than the floor surface of the living/dining/kitchen area.

The eye levels of the workspace and living/dining/kitchen area residents are offset, allowing workspace residents to concentrate on their work without having to worry about the LDK residents.

(4) Claim 4 is a house according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the workspace has a ceiling that separates it from the space on the second floor.

The area above the workspace is spatially and visually blocked, allowing workspace residents to concentrate on their work.

(5) Claim 5 relates to a house according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the staircase has a skip floor located between the first floor and the second floor, the upper space of the workspace and the skip floor are continuous, and a part of the lower space of the workspace is located below the skip floor.

Residents in the workspace can work while feeling a spatial connection with the living/dining/kitchen area and the split-level floor, as the upper space connects to the split-level floor. They can also move to a part of the lower space located below the split-level floor, where sound and visibility are more blocked.

(6) Claim 6 is the house of claim 5, further comprising a hall located on the second floor, the hall being connected to the workspace on the first floor through an atrium located above the split-level floor.

Residents in the workspace on the first floor and residents in the hall on the second floor can sense each other's presence.

(7) Claim 7 is a house according to claim 5 or 6, in which the split-level floor has a built-in shelf located between the upper space of the workspace.

The built-in shelves make it difficult to see what residents in the workspace are doing from the split-level floor, preventing other residents from seeing documents or the screens of information terminal devices used by residents working in the workspace.

(8) Claim 8 is a house according to claim 7, in which the built-in shelf has a shelf space that opens to both the skip floor and the upper space of the workspace.

The open parts of the built-in shelves on both the split-level floor and the workspace can be used as storage space by both residents, and the non-open parts can be placed in appropriate locations to block the residents' line of sight.

This invention creates a workspace that is connected to other rooms while minimizing sound and visibility.

FIG. 1 is a plan floor plan of a first floor 11 of a house 10 according to this embodiment. The following describes an embodiment of the present invention. Note that the embodiment described below is merely one example of the present invention, and it goes without saying that the embodiment of the present invention can be modified as appropriate without departing from the gist of the present invention.

In the following, the direction from the back of the house 10 towards the entrance 15 is referred to as the front, the opposite direction is referred to as the rear, and the front and rear together are referred to as the front-to-rear direction 1. The direction from the living space 40 towards the entrance hall 28 is referred to as the left, the opposite direction is referred to as the right, and the combination of the left and right directions is referred to as the left-to-right direction 2. The direction from the floor 78 of the workspace 19 towards the ceiling 79 of the upper space 80 is referred to as the up, the opposite direction is referred to as the down, and the direction perpendicular to the front-to-rear direction 1 and the left-to-right direction 2 is referred to as the up-to-down direction 3 (see Figure 4).

The house 10 is a detached building and has a first floor (an example of the first level) 11, a second floor (an example of the second level) 12, and a mezzanine 13 located between the first floor 11 and the second floor 12.

As shown in FIG. 1, the first floor 11 of the house 10 includes an entrance hall 15, a Japanese-style room 16, an LDK 17, a first staircase (an example of a staircase) 18, and a workspace 19.

The entrance 15 is located on the left side of the house 10 in the left-right direction 2, from the front to the rear in the front-to-back direction 1, and faces the left exterior wall 22.

At the entrance 15, there is a dirt floor 26 that extends roughly in the front-to-back direction 1 and can be moved around in shoes. The dirt floor 26 is connected to a first corridor 27 at a position toward the rear in the front-to-back direction 1, and is connected to a front hall 28 at a position toward the front in the front-to-back direction 1. The front hall 28 is connected to the living/dining/kitchen area 17 and the first corridor 27. In front of the dirt floor 26 in the front-to-back direction 1, there is a porch 29 that connects to the road that borders the site of the house 10.

The first corridor 27 has a Japanese-style room 16 located at the rear and an LDK 17 located at the front. A storage unit 30 is located to the right of the first corridor 27. On the left side of the first corridor 27 in the left-right direction 2, a first washbasin 31 is located at the rear where residents can wash their hands when they return home, and a shoe closet 32 is located at the front where shoes can be stored. The first corridor 27 can be accessed from the dirt floor 26 or from the entrance hall 28.

The Japanese-style room 16 is located behind the entrance 15 and faces the left exterior wall 22 and the rear exterior wall 24 of the house 10. The Japanese-style room 16 is a space separated from the living/dining/kitchen area 17 by a sliding door 35. A table 36 and a storage shelf 37 are arranged in the Japanese-style room 16.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the LDK 17 has a living space 40, a kitchen space 41, and a dining space 42. The LDK 17 is located to the right of the entrance hall 28 in the left-right direction 2. The LDK 17 is the largest room in the house 10. The height of the floor surface 43 of the LDK 17 is the same as that of the entrance hall 28 (see Figure 4), and is also the same as that of the first corridor 27 and the Japanese-style room 16.

The living space 40 is located to the right of the entrance hall 28 in the left-right direction 2. A table 45, a chair 46 that is L-shaped in plan view, a television 47, and a storage shelf 48 are arranged in the living space 40. The living space 40 is connected to the first deck 50 on the front side in the front-rear direction 1, separated by an opening 49. The first deck 50 is located to the right of the porch 29. A table 51 and two chairs 52 are arranged on the first deck 50.

The dining space 42 is located to the right in the left-right direction 2 behind the living space 40. The first staircase 18 is located to the left of the dining space 42 in the left-right direction 2. The dining space 42 is equipped with a table 54 that is long in the left-right direction 2 and a number of chairs 55 surrounding the table 54. The dining space 42 is connected to a terrace 56 across an opening at the front side in the front-to-rear direction 1. The terrace 56 is located in front of the dining space 42 across an opening 57. A table 58 and two chairs 59 are arranged on the terrace 56.

The kitchen space 41 is a space in which a system kitchen 60 having a stove and a sink is installed. The kitchen space 41 is located in front of the living space 40 in the front-rear direction 1. The system kitchen 60 is located in front of the kitchen space 41 in the front-rear direction 1. The kitchen space 41 has a pantry 61, a refrigerator 62, and an air conditioner 63. The pantry 61 is located in the rear of the kitchen space 41 in the front-rear direction 1. The refrigerator 62 is located to the right of the system kitchen 60. The air conditioner 63 is located behind the refrigerator 62. Storage (not shown) is located below the air conditioner 63. The kitchen space 41 is connected to a second deck 65 on the rear side in the front-rear direction 1 across an opening 64. The second deck 65 is located behind the kitchen space 41.

The first staircase 18 is located at the rear of the living space 40 in the front-to-rear direction 1, and can be accessed from the living space 40. The first staircase 18 has seven steps. The dimension of the first staircase 18 in the left-to-right direction 2 is longer than half the dimension of the workspace 19 in the left-to-right direction 2. The first staircase 18, located at the rear of the living space 40, forms a first traffic line L1 (see Figure 2) along the front-to-rear direction 1 that allows movement between the living space 40 and the skip floor 70.

3 and 4, the mezzanine floor 13 of the house 10 is provided with a split floor 70 connected to the living space 40 by a first staircase 18. The height of the floor surface 69 of the split floor 70 is approximately the same as the eye level of a person sitting in the living/dining/kitchen area 17. Specifically, the floor surface 69 of the split floor 70 is 1400 mm higher than the floor surface 43 of the living/dining/kitchen area 17. Above the split floor 70 is an atrium 71 where the ceiling of the first floor 11 and the floor of the second floor 12 are not provided. The split floor 70 is connected to a second staircase 72 that connects to the second floor 12. The second staircase 72 is located on the left side of the atrium 71 in the left-right direction 2, and the space is continuous. The second staircase 72 extends along the front-rear direction 1. The second staircase 72 is a staircase with six steps. The second staircase 72 is longer than the dimension of the first staircase 18 in the front-rear direction 1 and shorter than the dimension of the first staircase 18 in the left-right direction 2.

As shown in Figures 3, 4 and 5, a built-in shelf 73 is arranged on the skip floor 70. The built-in shelf 73 is located between the skip floor 70 and the upper space 80 located above the workspace 19 (see Figure 4). More specifically, the built-in shelf 73 is located on the front side of the skip floor 70 in the front-to-rear direction 1. The built-in shelf 73 extends in the left-to-right direction 2 from the right of the second staircase 72 to the right side of the skip floor 70. The height of the built-in shelf 73 is approximately 1500 mm from the floor surface 69 of the skip floor 70.

The built-in shelf 73 is composed of four tiers in the vertical direction 3 and three rows in the horizontal direction 2 (see FIG. 5). The built-in shelf 73 has a first shelf space 74 that opens only to the skip floor 70 side of the skip floor 70 and the upper space 80, a second shelf space 75 that opens only to the upper space 80 side of the skip floor 70 and the upper space 80, and a third shelf space (an example of a shelf space) 76 that opens to both the skip floor 70 side and the upper space 80 side, i.e., in the front-rear direction 1. The first shelf space 74 is located on the left and right of the topmost tier, the center of the second tier from the top, the left and right of the third tier from the top, and the center of the bottom tier when the built-in shelf 73 is viewed from the skip floor 70. The second shelf space 75 is located approximately below the built-in shelf 73. Specifically, the second shelf space 75 is located in the center of the third tier from the top and the left and right of the bottom tier when the built-in shelf 73 is viewed from the skip floor 70. The third shelf space 76 is located generally above the built-in shelf 73. Specifically, the third shelf space 76 is located in the center of the top shelf and on the left and right of the second shelf from the top when the built-in shelf 73 is viewed from the split floor 70.

1 and 2, the workspace 19 is located at the rear of the house 10 in the front-rear direction 1 and in the center in the left-right direction 2, facing the rear exterior wall 24. The workspace 19 is located to the left of the kitchen space 41 in the left-right direction 2. The workspace 19 is connected to the entrance 15, the living/dining/kitchen area 17, and the split floor 70 (see Figs. 1 and 4). The workspace 19 is adjacent to the kitchen space 41, and is connected to the workspace 19 via the entrance 82. The workspace 19 also has a step 77 near the entrance 82 (see Figs. 2 and 5). The step 77 is two steps. Specifically, the floor surface 78 of the workspace 19 is lower than the floor surface 43 of the living/dining/kitchen area 17 by about 300 mm (see Fig. 4). As shown in FIG. 2, the workspace 19 is connected to the kitchen space 41 by a short second traffic line L2 extending in the left-right direction 2, and residents in the kitchen space 41 can enter the workspace 19 along the second traffic line L2.

The workspace 19 faces the living space 40 across the first staircase 18. A resident in the living space 40 can enter the workspace 19 along a third traffic line L3 that passes from the living space 40 through the dining space 42 and the kitchen space 41. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the workspace 19 has a ceiling 79 that separates it from the space on the second floor 12. The ceiling 79 is located below the second corridor 102, which will be described later.

The workspace 19 is divided into an upper space 80 and a lower space 81. The upper space 80 is the space above the workspace 19. The upper space 80 is continuous with the atrium 71. The upper space 80 faces the ceiling 79 at the top. The lower space 81 is a lower first space 83 located below the upper space 80, and a lower second space (an example of a part of the lower space 81) 84 located below the skip floor 70. In the lower first space 83, the height from the floor surface 78 of the workspace 19 to the ceiling 79 is about 3500 mm. In the lower first space 83, a desk 86 is fixed to the inner wall on the rear side of the workspace 19. In the lower second space 84, the height from the floor surface 78 of the workspace 19 to the ceiling 90 located below the skip floor 70 is about 1500 mm. In the lower second space 84, a storage shelf 92 is installed on the inner wall on the right side of the workspace 19.

As shown in FIG. 5, the desk 86 has a dimension in the left-right direction 2 that is approximately the same as that of the built-in shelf 73. The desk 86 is at chest height when the resident sits on the floor surface 78 of the workspace 19, and is located lower than the window 89 located on the rear inner wall of the workspace 19. Specifically, the desk 86 is approximately 500 mm above the floor surface 78 of the workspace 19. An information terminal device 85 and the like are arranged on the desk 86. A chair 87 is arranged around the desk 86, facing the desk 86. A storage space 88 is located on the left side of the left-right direction 2 at the front of the workspace 19.

As shown in FIG. 3, each room on the second floor 12 is located at the rear of the house 10. The second floor 12 is provided with a first balcony 100 that extends from the center in the left-right direction 2 to the right at the rear of the house 10, then bends forward and extends to a position toward the rear in the front-to-rear direction 1, and a second balcony 101 that extends in the left-right direction 2 at the front of the house 10, then bends forward at its right end and extends to a center position in the front-to-rear direction 1. The second floor 12 is provided with a second hallway 102, a child's room 103, a second living room (an example of a hall) 104, a third hallway 105, a bedroom 106, a washroom/dressing room 107, and a bathroom 108.

The second corridor 102 is connected to the second staircase 72, extends in the left-right direction 2 at the center in the left-right direction 2 on the rear side of the second floor 12, and bends forward at the right end to extend to the center in the front-to-back direction 1. The second corridor 102 is connected to the children's room 103 at its right end extending in the left-to-right direction 2 via a sliding door 110. The floor surface 109 of the second corridor 102 is 2100 mm higher than the floor surface 69 of the split floor 70. The second corridor 102 is connected to the second living room 104 at its front side in the front-to-back direction 1. The left side of the second corridor 102 in the left-to-right direction 2 is connected to the third corridor 105. The second corridor 102 is connected to a space at the rear side of the atrium 71 in the front-to-back direction 1.

The child's room 103 faces the right exterior wall 23 and the rear exterior wall 24. The child's room 103 is separated from the atrium 71 and the second living room 104 by an interior wall 111. The child's room 103 is equipped with a desk 112, a chair 113, and a bed 114.

The second living room 104 is located in front of the child's room 103. The front side of the second living room 104 extends to the left in the left-right direction 2. The left side of the second living room 104 is connected to the washroom/dressing room 107. The second living room 104 is connected to the front side of the atrium 71 in the front-to-back direction 1. More specifically, the second living room 104 is connected to the first floor 11 through the atrium 71 (see Figures 3 and 4), and the built-in shelf 73 blocks the view to the workspace 19. A table 116 and a chair 117 that is long in the left-to-right direction 2 are arranged in the second living room 104. The second living room 104 is connected to the second balcony 101 on the front side in the front-to-back direction 1 across an opening 118. The chair 117 in the second living room 104 is arranged facing the opening 118.

The third corridor 105 is located on the rear side in the front-to-rear direction 1, toward the left in the left-to-right direction 2, and faces the rear exterior wall 24. The third corridor 105 extends from the left of the second corridor 102 to the center in the front-to-rear direction 1. The third corridor 105 is connected to the bedroom 106 on the left side via a hinged door 127, and is connected to the bathroom/dressing room 107 below. A storage space 123 is located on the right side of the third corridor.

The bedroom 106 faces the rear exterior wall 24 and the left exterior wall 22. The bedroom 106 is a space separated from the void 71 by an interior wall 126 and a hinged door 127. Two beds 128 are located in the bedroom 106.

The dressing room 107 is a space in which a second washbasin 130 is installed and a storage shelf 131 is arranged. The dressing room 107 is located to the left of the atrium 71, separated by an inner wall 132. The dressing room 107 is connected to the second balcony 101 on the front side in the front-to-rear direction 1, separated by an opening 133.

The bathroom 108 is a space in which a bathtub 135 is installed. The bathroom 108 is located in front of the bedroom 106. The bathroom 108 is connected to the dressing room 107 via a hinged door 136.

[Effects of the embodiment]
The upper space 80 of the workspace 19 and the first staircase 18 accessible from the LDK 17 are continuous in space, but by positioning the first staircase 18 between the LDK 17 and the workspace 19, sound and visibility to the workspace 19 can be blocked as much as possible. This allows the residents in the workspace 19 to concentrate on their work without worrying about their surroundings. This makes it possible to create a workspace 19 that is connected to other rooms in space while blocking sound and visibility as much as possible.

In this embodiment, the resident in the kitchen space 41 can enter the workspace 19 via the short second traffic line L2, so that they can work efficiently when doing housework while teleworking at home during the day. In addition, the third traffic line L3 for moving from the living space 40 to the workspace 19 is lengthened by the first staircase 18, and the line of sight from the living space 40 to the workspace 19 is blocked by the first staircase 18, so that a person who is working in the workspace 19 while doing housework in the kitchen space 41 can concentrate on their work even when someone who has returned home from work at night is in the living space 40.

In this embodiment, the eye levels of the residents in workspace 19 and the residents in LDK 17 are not aligned. This allows the residents in workspace 19 to concentrate on their work without having to worry about the residents in LDK 17.

In this embodiment, the occupants of the workspace 19 can concentrate on their work because the ceiling 79 spatially and visually blocks the view above the workspace 19.

In this embodiment, the resident of the workspace 19 can work in the lower first space 83 where the upper space 80 is connected to the split floor 70 while feeling a spatial connection with the living/dining/kitchen area 17 and the split floor 70, and can also move to the lower second space 84 to an environment where sound and visibility are more blocked.

In this embodiment, a resident in the workspace 19 on the first floor 11 and a resident in the second living room 104 on the second floor 12 can sense each other's presence through the atrium 71.

In this embodiment, the built-in shelf 73 is placed between the split-floor 70 and the upper space 80 of the workspace 19, making it difficult for the split-floor 70 to see what the resident in the workspace 19 is doing. This prevents documents and the screen of the information terminal device 85 of a resident working in the workspace 19 from being seen by other residents.

In this embodiment, the third shelf space 76 of the built-in shelf 73, which opens to both the skip floor 70 and the workspace 19, can be used as storage space by residents of both the skip floor 70 and the workspace 19. In addition, the non-opening portion can be positioned appropriately to block the view of residents in the workspace 19.

[Modification]
In the above embodiment, the house 10 is a two-story building, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The number of floors of the house 10 is not particularly limited.

In the above embodiment, a shoe closet 32 for storing shoes and the like is located at the front on the left side of the first corridor 27 in the left-right direction 2, but this configuration is not limited to this. The shoe closet 32 may also be a storage space for storing coats, umbrellas, and other items other than shoes and the like.
