The present invention relates to a flute material. Generally, 18-karat gold or 14-karat gold, which is mainly composed of Au and Cu, is used for making high-quality flutes. Flutes made from 8-karat gold or 14-karat gold are popular for their noble hues, but they have the problem of being expensive due to their Au content. In addition, in the case of 18-karat gold and 14-karat gold, during annealing during the flute manufacturing process,
There is a problem in that irregular → ordered transformation of Au-Cu occurs and cracks occur. Therefore, the present inventors developed a method that is cheaper than 14-karat gold and 18-karat gold, has the same color as 14-karat gold and 18-karat gold, and prevents the irregular → ordered transformation of Au-Cu by adding Ag. As a result of our intensive efforts to develop an alloy material for flutes with good workability, we have found an alloy material for flutes that is generally satisfactory. The flute material of the present invention includes Au20 to 40% by weight,
It consists of 5 to 20% by weight of Ag, 40 to 75% by weight of Cu, and 1 to 3% by weight of Zn. The reason why the component composition of the flute material of the present invention is limited as described above will be explained. The Au content is in the proportion of 5 to 10 gold, and the color is also
It is equivalent to 18-karat gold or 14-karat gold. If Ag is less than 5% by weight, it will not be possible to suppress the occurrence of cracks due to changes over time due to ordered and irregular transformation caused by heat treatment during flute processing of the Au-Cu alloy.
If the weight% is exceeded, the color will become white, so Ag5~20
% by weight is preferred. Cu less than 40% by weight, or
If Cu exceeds 75% by weight, the color becomes white or red, so 40 to 75% by weight of Cu is suitable. Further, Zn is included because it has a deoxidizing effect, but if Zn exceeds 3% by weight, processability deteriorates, so it is preferably 1 to 3% by weight. Next, in order to clarify the effects of the flute material according to the present invention, specific examples and conventional examples thereof will be described. Flutes of Example 1 and Conventional Examples 1 and 2 having the component compositions shown in the left column of the table below were manufactured and their workability was observed, and the results shown in the right column of the table below were obtained.

[Table] As is clear from the above table, the flute material of Example 1 has the same color tone as the flute materials of Conventional Examples 1 and 2, and has excellent workability. As can be seen from the above explanation, the alloy material for flutes of the present invention has a lower Au content and has the same color tone.
It can be said to be an innovative flute material that can replace conventional flute materials because it prevents cracking caused by irregular transformation of the alloy and has excellent workability.
