Cooking Instructions
-
1
Dough for a tart pan measuring 32 cm x 3 cm high.
In a bowl, sift the flour and powdered sugar together. Cut the butter into small pieces. Use your fingers to form pea-sized lumps. -
2
Add the beaten eggs and mix with a spatula. Then, place on a counter and gather the dough enough to form a ball. Flatten slightly into a disc and refrigerate for 1/2 hour.

Dissolve 1 cup of milk with the cornstarch in a bowl. Place 1 cup of milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a saucepan. Heat until it is about to boil, add the milk with the dissolved cornstarch, and stir in. Cook for a few minutes, whisking to prevent burning on the bottom.
-
5
Spread the fruit over the crust and cover with the hot cream. You can decorate with more fruit on top if desired. Bake the cake until the cream begins to brown, as does the dough. About 45 minutes.
-
6
Let it cool completely before removing from the pan. You can cut between 12 and 16 servings.

Fruit Tart Fruit Tart
I wanted to eat a fruit-filled tart on a hot summer's day, so I made this. Mixing a little custard to the filling is unbelievably delicious. Use your favorite fruits; the pastry glaze will dry and coat them beautifully, and I recommend it. Bananas and apples brown easily so sprinkle a little lemon juice before topping on the cake. This cake came about by chance. My cousin had made pastry cream but didn’t know what to do with it. In the end, we decided to use it to make a beautiful fruit tart (with a gluten-free shortcrust base). Arianna BusiTranslated from Cookpad Italy -

This is the Indonesian version of Fruit & Nut cake (no nuts in my photo though). It's using a mix of sugar and dark and sticky palm sugar. You need to shave or shred the palm sugar to make it easier to beat. Daisy -
